Botlhale Mosoane. But you can call me Bo.

I build products, platforms and engineering teams, from the first messy problem to production.

Part instinct.Part engineering.

The work kept getting bigger.

I started by building interfaces. Over time, I took on the systems behind them, the teams shipping them and eventually the company around them.

Chapter 01

Learn the craft

Allan Gray → AWSInvestment management · Cloud infrastructure

The shift

I learned to turn complex data into software people could actually use.

At Allan Gray, that meant making investment data easier to understand. At AWS, it meant shipping customer-facing software at global scale.

  1. Chapter 01

    Learn the craft

    2016 - 2019

    Allan Gray → AWS

    Investment management · Cloud infrastructure

    The shift

I learned to turn complex data into software people could actually use.

At Allan Gray, that meant making investment data easier to understand. At AWS, it meant shipping customer-facing software at global scale.

  2. Chapter 02

    Build beyond the interface

    2019 - 2021

    FlexClub → Honeypot

    Mobility · Talent technology

    The shift

I moved from building interfaces to shaping the systems and teams behind them.

The work expanded into APIs, Node.js services and product architecture. Then I moved into management and became responsible for how a team delivered, not only what I built myself.

  3. Chapter 03

    Own the outcome

    2021 - 2023

    Universal Healthcare → Moove

    Healthcare · Mobility fintech

    The shift

I became responsible for outcomes, not only implementation.

In healthcare, that meant taking sensitive products from technical approach to delivery. At Moove, it meant leading seven engineers across three products while a core system changed underneath us.

  4. Chapter 04

    Build where trust matters

    2023 - 2025

    Confidential

    Security-sensitive systems · Real-time data

    The shift

I learned to build where trust, speed and reliability were non-negotiable.

I owned high-volume, real-time interfaces in a security-sensitive environment and shaped the contracts between product, frontend, backend and QA.

  5. Chapter 05

    Build the company

    2025 - Now

    Cobi

Customer intelligence SaaS · Applied AI

    The shift

I went from leading engineering work to building the product, team and operating foundations a SaaS company needed.

I built Cobi's customer intelligence product from zero to paid pilots and customers, turning customer behaviour into clear answers and next actions. I also built the platform, engineering team, delivery practice, security posture and ISO readiness around it as the company raised a $1M pre-seed.
